Future SMS

Another first in the Sultanate from Nawras, FutureSMS allows you, our customer to prepare a message for delivering at a later time either on the same day or on a different date.

Whether you want to wish or remind your friends and family about something at an early or late time now you can simple enjoy that with FutureSMS service from Nawras.

How does it work?
By using a hash sign (#) at the beginning of the text message followed by the time in a 24 hour format, the message would be delivered later the same day. For example, sending a message that starts #2359 would lead to the message being delivered on the same day at one minute before midnight.

Simple and easy, all what you need to do is enter (#) -hash sign- at the beginning of the text message followed by the time and date (optional) in the following format #HHMMDDMMYY.

For example, a message that starts with #2359 (Time) will be delivered one minute before midnight at #0000, but if it starts with #060016032009 (Date and time) it will be delivered at 6 am on 16 March 2009.

Adding to that you can also choose to have the message delivered a number of days latter by simply adding (+ number of days)

For example, using #1930+1 will cause the message to be delivered on the following days at 7.30 PM

This type of message could also be used to say something helpful like #1930 do not forget the pizza on your way home. This could be prepared and sent in the morning but conveniently would not be delivered until 7.30pm that evening when the reminder was actually needed.

This service is available for all Nawras customers and messages can be sent in Arabic or English to any local or international number at normal rates.

How much will it cost me?
Normal SMS charge, For example, 10bz for local, 50bz for international, 9bz for Shababiyah & 7.5bz for More SMS Bundle.
